The Ikigai Voyage (“we”, “us”) is operated by Jirlo Jayan, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and how we use it.
What we collect
- Quiz answers. Your choices in the 12-question voyage are stored against an anonymous session — we don’t require a name, email, or sign-up to take the quiz.
- Payment information. When you unlock a full reading, payment is processed entirely by Razorpay, our payment gateway. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — only the resulting order status (paid or not) and the amount charged.
- Contact details, if you provide them. Razorpay’s checkout may collect your name, email, or phone number to process the payment and send you a receipt. That data is held by Razorpay under its own privacy policy.
- Basic technical data. Standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) may be collected by our hosting provider (Netlify) for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To generate your personality/ikigai reading from your quiz answers.
- To verify payment and unlock your full reading.
- To respond if you contact us for support.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where your data lives
Quiz answers and order records are stored with Supabase (our database provider). Payments are processed by Razorpay. Both are used solely to operate this service.
Your choices
Since the quiz doesn’t require an account, most of what you enter stays tied only to an anonymous browser session. If you’d like your data deleted — including any order or reading history linked to a payment you made — email jirlojayanofficial1995@gmail.com and we’ll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
